Sex 4 Breakfast

Sex 4 Breakfast

Happy Monday folks,

I Hope you had a great weekend & didn’t you didn’t clutch your imaginary pearls at the name of todays blog. Honestly it’s not what it looks like. (No need for a NSFW disclaimer!)

‘Sex 4 Breakfast’ is the provocatively titled new single by the talented K Stewart.  It’s produced by the Canadian production duo Banx N Ranx & is co-written by yours truly, the very dope emerging writer Grace Tither (Sigala) from U.K  & one of my favourite humans Adam Baptiste (Katy Perry/ Enrique Igelsias/Swedish House Mafia) from Sweden.

I guess when one is in that industry, they have to come up with titles that push the boundaries. Sign of the times I guess.

I’m with the previous person that commented. I just wonder how far we will go to grab the audience attention. It’s like everything is about being provocative and pushing the boundaries

Hi Tomiko, I agree that the title is alittle out there but at the same time its not really that new. Creative process for me is about capturing an emotion or mood with my co-writers & documenting the same human experiences but in new ways. Thank you for your comment, appreciated x

I agree with the others. I was shocked by the song title.

I hope you weren’t too put off. I’m a huge Prince (Sex in the summer) & Marvin Gaye (sexual healing) fan so exploring a female perspective was interesting to me as a creative . Thank you for your comment x

I will have to agree with the ladies above.

I hear you, my mum never let us listen to ‘Sexual Healing’ or ‘I wanna sex you up’ by Color me bad (showing my age there) till I was damn near grown. Thanks for commenting!

After reading the title, I wasn’t sure what to expect. Certainly a provocative title.

This is definitely both an interesting song and title. But today’s music choices are really something else so can’t be too thrown off lol

Thank you for giving it a listen. Yes in todays industry sometimes the provocative things do attract eyes, but as a songwriters we were just expressing a particular time in a relationship. Thanks for commenting x

1.My husband would love this song even without hearing it. LOL
    2. Remind me of a song called Sunny Side Up – “How do you like your eggs in the morning?”

It’s actually not as bad as I thought it would be, but I don’t want my teenager listening to it.

lol, yes maybe we could have been slicker with the wordplay. I totally would recommend decernment with music choices also. Im like that with my nephews too. Thanks for commenting x

I’ve never heard of the artist but hopefully she does well. I am sure there is a demographic that’ll support!

Wow! Now I need to listen! Can’t believe this is really a song title but hey it fits with today’s times I guess. We let everything fly!

The song title is not a shocker but I guess if you want an attention grabber title, this would be the one. At least it allows the listener the opportunity to see if they want to listen or skip pass the song. Just really depends on your audience.

The title is really interesting. I like the song though. It’s a nice upbeat tempo. I could see myself listening to this often.
